I’m Deakin Ng. A multimedia creator, author, and soft-tip darts coach. My work sits at the intersection of storytelling and sport.
Since 1997, singing gave me the courage to step onto a stage. Since 2000, radio broadcasting taught me to listen before I speak. Those roots grew into a multimedia career spanning video production, social media, graphic design, and podcasting. I’ve also produced Cantonese audio resources for Indigenous reconciliation work, helping bring the TRC’s 94 Calls to Action to Chinese-speaking communities in Canada.
In 2026, I published Darts Don’t Lie, a bilingual book in English and Traditional Chinese exploring life lessons through competitive darts. It’s the written foundation of iDartsLife, the brand I built around a simple belief: the dartboard teaches things the classroom can’t. I coach soft-tip darts in Vancouver, including with youth and in the Downtown Eastside. I compete internationally as a sponsored athlete with Target Sports Japan and Phoenix Darts North America.
Everything I create, whether a video, a coaching session, or a book, comes back to the same question: what is this actually saying? My guiding principle is simple. Throw what matters.
